DEPUTY Minister for Infor¬mation U Ye Tint, accompa¬nied by the tactical operations commander and the district ad¬ministrator, visited the Khamti Basic Education High School where students sat the matric¬ulation exam and encouraged students and parents yesterday. 

Afterwards, the deputy minister, together with the as¬sistant director of the District Education Department and the township education officer, met with teachers and the medi¬cal team to express words of thanks for their effort so that the students could sit the exam peacefully. 

He also urged the teachers to conduct training, workshops and sports competitions for young people during the sum¬mer holidays to increase their knowledge. He said he was proud of the teachers teaching their pupils dutifully. 

Afterwards, the deputy minister and party cordially greeted the teachers and the medical team and presented them with cash, eggs and fruits. — MNA
