A ceremony to provide relief items to fire victims was held at the meeting hall of the Township General Administration Department in Meiktila Township, Mandalay Region on 5 April.

Under this cash aid program, three families of four families received rescue kit box with 18 items and Ks. 450208 each provided by the District Department of Disaster Management for purchasing construction materials and rice.

In addition, the Myanmar Red- Cross Society provided relief items including construction materials, accessories for women and blankets to four families of fire victims.—Chan Thar(Meiktila)
