With the aim of distributing drinking water in all seasons, water supply projects are being undertaken in Mattaya Township, Mandalay Region and now, all the projects in four villages have been completed 100 percent.
The earthen road measuring one mile long and 12 ft. wide was constructed with Ks. 66.160 million allotted by regional government in 2021-2022 fiscal years and it will benefit 1000 acres of farmland of 250 people in Sakabin Village in the Township.
Digging a 200 ft. deep tube well and construction of a water tanker capable of storing 2400 gallons of water and water plant are constructed with Ks 29.72 million allocated by regional government and now, all the projects have been completed 100 percent. It will benefit 3043 people from 656 households in Kin Village in the Township.
In addition, digging a 300 ft. deep tube well and construction of a water tanker capable of storing 2400 gallons of water and a water plant are constructed with Ks 17.48 million allocated by regional government 2021-2022 FY. Now, all the projects have been completed 100 percent, and it will benefit 517 people from 132 households in Tawpu Village in the Township.
Then, extension of a 3000 ft. long pipeline and construction of a water tanker capable of storing 2400 gallons of water are constructed with Ks 12.708 million allocated by regional government in 2021-2022 FY. Now, all the projects have been completed 100 percent, and it will benefit 197 people from 51 families in Myittin Village in the Township.
