A ceremony to provide cash aid to victims of strong winds was held at the meeting room of the Township Administration Council in Naungcho Township, Shan State(North) on 27  April.

During the event, the Township Administrator U Aung Kyi Toe delivered an opening speech. Afterwards, an official from the Township Department of Disaster Management clarified the purposes of the provision of cash aid for victims of strong winds. 

Then, officials handed over ks.5.06 million to victims of strong winds for purchasing rice and building material. The Powerful winds hit the Township on 11 April and damaged and flipped over the roofs of 51 houses in the 17 villages in the Township.—Htway Nge(IPRD)
