A ceremony to open a free English language proficiency course, jointly organized by the District Information and Public Relations Department and Aungmye Oo Monastic School, was held at the community center of the District IPRD in the Town of Sagaing, Sagaing Region on 28 April.

At the ceremony, staff officer of the District Information and Public Relations Department Daw May Zin Moe delivered an opening speech and clarified the purposes of the training course. Then, official urged the trainees to study English language everyday because it is an international language that is very useful and beneficial for us.

The one-month training course is being attended by 20 trainees from Basic Education Schools in the Township. The course covers grammar and speaking.—Zaw Myint Naing (District IPRD)
