Four rural roads will be built in Meiktila District, Mandalay Region during 2022-2023 FY, according to the District Department of Rural Development.

 

With the aims of narrowing gaps between rural and urban areas in the township and distributing agricultural products to the markets with saving time and money, the Department of Rural Development is undertaking the construction of rural and bridges. Now, four rural roads and related works will be conducted with K 288.048 million allocated by Union in villages in Meiktila, Mahlaing, Wundwin and Thazi Townships. 

 

Upon completion, it will bring socioeconomic development to a total of 8006 people from 1533 households in 12 villages and their agricultural products will be delivered the markets with saving time and money.
