A ceremony to wrap up a Basic English Course was held at the community center of the District Information and Public Relations Department in the Town of Thayet, Magway Region at about 9:00 am on 11 May.

At the event, member-2 of the Township Administration Council U Soe Hla Myint delivered a concluding speech and an official from the District Information and Public Relations Department clarified the purposes of the training course and explained matters relating to the training course.

This was followed by the presentation of gifts of honor to course instructors by officials. Afterwards, course instructor U Aung Kyaw Soe spoke words of thanks on behalf of course instructors. The training course was attended by 39 students from Basic Education Middle Schools and Basic Education High Schools in the Township.—Zaw Wan Tun(Aunglan)
