The fresher’s welcome ceremony of University of Computer Studies was held at the Main Hall of the University in Thaton, Mon State on 12 May. 

First of all, Rector of the University Dr. Daw Nilar Thein delivered a welcoming speech. Afterwards, heads of department and demonstrators who will teach the first year students welcomed the students and introduced academic knowledge for the respective specializations. 

First year, second years and third years(second semester) courses in 2021-2022 academic year, the fifth year(first semester) course in 2021-2022 academic year and first year(first semester) course in 2022-2023 academic year are opened on 12 May in the University of Computer Studies in Thaton Township.

Out of 567 students who have been admitted to attend the class, 130 students have been enrolled at the University so far. A total of 34 teachers will teach the students at the University.—Ko Ko Oo(IPRD)
