A ceremony to open a basic instructor course on sports and physical education was held at the B.E.H.S-5 in Mawlamyine Township, Mon State this morning.

At the event, staff officer of the State Basic Education Officer’s office Daw Cho Cho Myat Aung delivered an opening speech and clarified the purposes of the training course. 

 “The training course aims to raise the standard of sports and the standard of health and fitness of the whole state plus promoting sports and emerge of a new generation of athletes,” she added.

Afterwards, Daw Cho Cho Myat Aung cordially greeted the teachers who attended the training course.—Khin San Myint (District IPRD)
