Myanma Agricultural Development Bank (Mohnyin Branch) is dispensing monsoon agricultural loans to farmers in the town of Mohnyin, Mohnyin District, Kachin State starting from May 16. 

The bank is disbursing the loans to the farmers who have already paid their debt from the last year. A total of 2600 farmers from 43 village-tracts in the township will be disbursed agri-loans at a rate of K 150,000 per acre of paddy and K 100,000 per acre of other crops. On May 16, a total of K 36,450,000 of agri-loans was disbursed to 44 farmers for their 243 acres of monsoon paddy, according to the bank (Mohnyin Branch).
