Letpadan 23 May 

With the aim of greening the environment and reducing deforestation in Letpadan Township, Tharawady District, Bago Region, the Township Forest Department organized a pre-monsoon tree-planting ceremony in Thayettaw village in the township on May 23.

The occasion was attended by Chairman and members of Township Administration Council, departmental personnel and officials from the Township Forest Department. They then planted 1000 saplings of shady trees, according to the Township Information and Public Relations Department.
