With an aim of ensuring swift flow of commodity and saving time and money, construction of a concrete road on Taninphalone road in ward-4 in the town of Paikyone in Kayin State was started on 23 May.

The concrete road measuring 200 ft. long, 18 ft. wide and six inches thick is being constructed by the Township Development Committee with Ks 9.730 million allotted by Kayin State government in 2022-2023 FY. 

Once completed, it will benefit local people.—Naw Khu(IPRD)
