Basic education schools' student enrollment for 2022-2023 Academic year began in the Town of Ngwesaung, Pathein District in Ayeyawady Region on 26 May.

On the occasion, the teachers warmly welcomed the students and their parents, and presented textbooks, note books and face masks provided by the government to students who will attend schools in 2022-2023 Academic year.

Basic education schools' student enrollment for 2022-2023 Academic year will run from May 26 to June 2. The basic education schools across the country will reopen for the new academic year on 2 June, according to the Ministry of Education.—Kyaw Lin Oo
