Officials from the Township Department of Social Welfare dispensed social pension to senior citizens aged 85 and above in Einme Township, Myaungmya District in Ayeyawady Region yesterday.

There are a total of 869 elderly people from 97 village tracts in Einme Township. Officials from the Township Department of Health made a domiciliary visit to the homes of elderly people in the town and nearby villages and provided social pension to them.

Under this cash assistance program, a total of 869 senior citizens in the Township received Ks. 30000 each for the months of April, May and June.—Einme IPRD
