Thongwa, 16 June

 

A total of 500000 fish fingerlings were released into Hmawwin Creek in ward-11 in Thongwa Township, Yangon Region on 16 June. 

 

500000 fish fingerlings, including 250000 Thai ngakhounma from Laydaunt lake and 250000 Thai ngakhounma from Hlawka camp were released into Hmawwin Stream to further restore the biodiversity of Hmawwin Creek. 

 

Deputy staff officer of Fisheries Department of Southern Yangon District in Yangon Region U Tint Lwin, Chairman of the District Administration Council U Thein Soe and members, staff officer of the District Fisheries Department U Aye Naing and staff officer of the Township Fisheries Department U Myo Tint and staff, and departmental officials attended the event.—Si Thu Lwin (IPRD)
