As of June 19, a total of  194201 people including 163 students aged between five and 12, 247 other children, 8496 students aged 12 and above, 1479 nuns aged between 15 and 18 and 167621 people aged 18 and above have been vaccinated against their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine at the designated vaccination sites in Kyaukse Township, Mandalay Region.

In addition, 155387 people including 8139 students aged 12 and above, 1030 nuns aged between 15 and 18 and 146218 people aged 18 and above have been vaccinated against their second dose of COVID-19 vaccine while 14756 people have been inoculated against their booster dose of COVID-19 jab in the designated vaccination sites in the Township so far.

The Township committee on COVID-19 prevention, control and treatment is carrying out informative talks about COVID-19 pandemic in collaboration with healthcare workers at the 64 vaccination sites in the Township.—Thet Maung(Kyaukse)
