With the aim of keeping the environment green and maintaining soil, a collective tree planting activity was conducted at the compound of Letse Lake in Wathe Ward in Mrauk-U Township, Rakhine State this morning. 

 

Member of the District Administration Council U Tun Kyaw, Chairman of the Township Administration Council U Soe Soe Thet and members, departmental officials, members of social organizations and members of the Township Women’s Affairs Association participated in the activity and grew about 1600 saplings including 100 trees of teak, 100 trees of Pingadoe, 100 trees of eucalyptus, 1300 trees of Manjansha and other hardwood trees at the designated places in the compound of the Lake.
