An event to provide financial aid to people whose homes were damaged by strong winds was held at the meeting room of General Administration Department in Nattalin Township, Bago Region this morning.

During the event, officials from the Township Department of Disaster Management and the Township General Administration Department jointly provided Ks. 193600 to 16 victims of strong winds from four households in the Township for purchasing construction materials and rice.

The powerful winds hit Nattalin Township on 21 June this year, and damaged four houses in three villages in the Township.—Wai Yan Phyo(IPRD)
