Staff led by staff officer of the District Department of Rural Development U Than Lwin looked into the progress of the construction works of rural road in Shwekyobin(Ywarma) Village in Zigon Township, Bago Region this morning.

A gravel type rural road measuring 9101 ft. in length, 12 ft. in width and one ft. in thickness is being constructed by a tender winning company with Ks. 92.625 million of DRD’s allotted funds in 2022-2023 FY. 

During the inspection tour, U Than Lwin and members met with members of village development committee and gave necessary instructions to them and stressed the importance of quality construction and maintenance. 

Once completed, the road will benefit 149 acres of farmland of local people, according to the Township DRD. —Ko Nyo(DRD)
