Three households in Thaunggok Village in Htinkalagon village tract, Pantanaw Township, Ayeyarwady Region were relocated to safer places due to riverbank erosion. 

 

There has been strong overflowing of Irrawaddy River in Pantanaw Township due to heavy rain leading to the evacuation of 18 family members from three households. A total of 18 flood victims are currently taking refuge in the homes of their relatives in the village.

 

Necessary helps to flood victims are being provided by local authorities. Three houses will be demolished and will be evacuated to safer places in the village.—Pyae Phyo Kyaw (IPRD)
