Village Development Project (VDP) will be implemented in 14 villages in Salina Township, Magway Region during 2022-2023 FY through cooperation between officials from the Township Department of Rural Development and local residents. 

The projects will be conducted in Taungbo Ywathit, Kyabin(North), Thayatchin, Paunglaung, Paukkyin, Khaungku, Yesangone, Pyokhingone, Painnebin, Kantinegwe, Daswekan, Kyaunggon, Ayadaw and Kuto (South) villages. Upon completion, it will bring socioeconomic development to a total of 6533 local residents from 1554 households, according to an official from the Township DRD. 

The Department of Rural Development has put effort into the vision of the sustainable socioeconomic development of rural people and basic needs of the villages are being identified with the cooperation of local people. The VDP was implemented starting from 2015-2016 FY and there have been 68 villages in the township where have been implemented village development project, according to the township DRD.
