A total of 1276 students aged five to 12 received their second dose of COVID-19 vaccine at the designated vaccination sites in Maungdaw Township, Rakhine State yesterday morning.

 

During the vaccination campaign, healthcare workers monitored the body temperatures and blood pressures of the students in collaboration with volunteers before administering the vaccine to them and watched them for 30 minutes after giving the vaccine.

 

As of July 20, a total of 8657 students aged five to 12 received their second dose of COVID-19 vaccine in line with COVID-19 health rules in Maungdaw Township. Medical workers continue to vaccinate the remaining students in wards and villages in the Township.—Thet Lwin Soe(District IPRD)
