Hailing the 72nd anniversary of the Union Day, a ceremony to open a new market was held in Aung Zabu Ward in Zabuthiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw Council this morning.

 

The new bazaar was formally opened by Chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Council and Nay Pyi Taw Mayor Dr. Myo Aung, Member of the Nay Pyi Taw Development Committee U Hsan Naing and an elder by cutting a ceremonial ribbon. Next, the Nay Pyi Taw Council chairman and his entourage viewed round the new market and cordially greeted the locals. The new market that consists of 360 stalls and each room measures 6 ft. wide was built by Moe Kyelsin Construction Company.

 

There was once a rural market in the place of new market. A supervisory committee was set up a new market under the supervision of the Nay Pyi Taw Council and the General Administration Department.—Tun Tun Win (IPRD)
