Construction of a multi-purpose hall in Nakho village in Mongyal Township, Lashio District, Shan State (North) was inspected on July 28.

Officials from the Township Department of Rural Development and members of village supervisory committee of Emerald Green Project inspected the completion of the construction and urged the responsible people to meet the set standard within the target date. 

The hall which is 50 ft in length, 30 ft in width and 12 ft in height is being built with K 15.6 million of interest of the emerald green project and K 4.4 million of public contributions. Now, it has been completed by 60 percent, according to an official from the Township DRD. Upon completion, it will benefit a total of 261 people from 63 households in the village.
