An event to provide Personal protective equipment (PPE) and medical items to philanthropic groups was held in Bilin Township, Mon State on this morning.

At the event, vice chairman of the Township Red-Cross Society U Mya Oo delivered an opening speech. Next, secretary of the Township Red-Cross Society U Ngwe Win clarified the purposes of the donation of medical items for philanthropic groups in the Township. 

Under this medical items supply grogram, 19 philanthropic groups in the Township received 40 sets of PPE, one box of mask, two bottles of hand gel, five-face shield each.

As part of efforts to control the spread of COVID-19 pandemic, Red-Cross Society based in Bilin Township provided PPE and medical items to local philanthropic groups.—Htoo Naung(Township IPRD)
