An event to present foodstuff to the families who have very limited and irregular income amid the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic was held at the meeting room of the town General Administration Department in Chaung, Ayeyarwady Region this morning.

At the event, officials led by the Town Administrator U Thiha Aung provided foodstuff to people with irregular income from the Town. Under this food supply program, people with irregular income from 90 households in the Town received foodstuff such as rice, cooking oil, salt and eggs.

As of September 22, a total of 270 households in the Town of Chaungtha received foodstuff donated by business persons.—Kyaw Kyaw (IPRD)
