The final match of the region Chief Minister’s cup U-16 men’s football took place in conjunction with prize awarding event at the Koethein Football Ground in the town of Pathein, Ayeyawady Region yesterday.

In the final game, the team representing Pathein District beat the squad representing Football Academy with 2-1 and was crowned the champion trophy. Then, officials presented individual prizes, cash award and champion trophy to the prize winning players and teams.

The Ayeyarwady Region CM U Tin Maung Win, departmental officials and locals attended the event.  Football teams from six districts in the region took part in the tournament which ran from September 15 to 24.—Hla Min Htut(IPRD)
