The returnees were warmly welcomed by departmental officials, and provided free medical check-up and other necessary assistances to them.

The returnees who are from Bago Region, Tanintharyi Region and Mon State will be allowed to go back home after being placed under ten-day observation at Semyone quarantine centre in the town of Mawlamyine, Mon State.

In addition, the returnees from other regions and states will be allowed to go back home after being placed under ten-day observation at the designated quarantine centres in the Town of Myawaddy, Kayin State.
