With the aims of boosting family income and creating job opportunities for rural people, the Township Department of Rural Development organized a free vocational motorcycle repair course at the monastery of Myinmahti Village in Kalaw Township, Shan State(South) on 4 October.

 

At the event, an official from the District Department of Rural Development delivered an opening speech. Next, an official from the Township Department of Rural Development clarified the purposes of the training course and called on the trainees to practically apply the lessons learned in the training course to generate more income in their families.

 

The one-month training course which runs from October 4 to November 2 is being attended by 20 trainees from wards and villages in the Township. The trainees will be given practical and theoretical training during the course by two instructors. — Maung Khaing(DRD)
