With the aim of delivering agricultural products to markets with saving time and money, construction of a jetty bridge is being conducted in Pasoebyauk village in Myebon Township, Mrauk-U District, Rakhine State during 2022-2023 FY. On October 24, officials from the Township Department of Rural Development inspected the completion of the construction.
Then, responsible people from the construction company clarified the process of the project and the officials asked them for the timely completion, meeting the set standard.
The bridge which is 30 ft in length, 12 ft in width and 8 ft in height is being built with K 12.61 million starting from June 6. Until October 24, it has been completed by 50 percent.
Upon completion, it will benefit 227 people from 52 households in the village and their agricultural products will be delivered to the markets in a timely manner.
