Officials from the Township Department of Rural Development inspected construction works of rural roads in Kungpaung Village and Matkat Village in Kunhing Township, Shan State(South) this morning.
Rural roads measuring 1.4 miles long, 12 ft. wide and 12 inches thick are being constructed by a tender winning company with Ks. 117.00 million allotted by regional government in 2022-2023 FY.
During the inspection tour, officials met with in-charge person of the Company and instructed to meet the construction deadlines, according to an official from the Township DRD.
Once completed, it will benefit over 200 acres of farmland of 3060 local people from 482 households in the two villages and helping them transport rural products to the markets in a timely manner.—Cho Than Nyunt(DRD)
