With a view to creating a better job opportunity for rural people and boosting their social-economic status, a free training course on masonry and carpentry was organized at the meeting room of the Department of Rural Development (DRD) in Kanma Township, Thayet District, Magway Region this morning.

At the event, an official from the Township DRD clarified the purposes of the training course. Then, course instructors introduced the subject to be taught in the training.

A total of 25 trainees from 12 villages in the township will be given practical and theoretical lectures by course instructors during the 15-day training course which runs from November 10 to 24 this year. The training course is being organized with Ks. 3 million allocated by regional government in 2022-2023 FY.—Kyaw Zay Ya Win(Kanma IPRD)
