The State Peace Talks Team continued its second-day meet­ing with the New Mon State Par­ty (NMSP) at the National Soli­darity and Peacemaking Centre in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

State Administration Coun­cil Member Union Minister at the Government Office Chair­man of the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee-NSPNC Peace Talks Team Leader Lt-Gen Yar Pyae and members — SAC Member Lt-Gen Moe Myint Tun and NSP­NC Secretary Lt-Gen Min Naung — and NMSP Vice-Chairman Nai Aung Min, Joint General Secretary of the NMSP Nai Win Hla and Central Executive Com­mittee member Nai Banyar Lei attended the meeting.

 

At the second-day meeting, participants mutually discussed their attitudes on the stage-by-stage implementation of the post-2020 stage-wise procedures and implementations (Table 2). They also talked about regional development matters under the general discussion. Afterwards, both parties signed the agree­ments resulting from two days of negotiations.
