A rural road has been constructed in Tat Village in Magway Township, Magway Region since the last week of June this year and now, it has been completed 70 percent.
A gravel type road measuring one mile in length, 12 ft. in width and one ft. and nine inches in thickness is being constructed by a tender winning company with Ks. 30 million allotted by regional government in 2022-2023 FY.
During the inspection tour, officials and members of village development committee meet with the construction workers and instructed to meet the construction deadlines.
Once completed, it will benefit over 850 acres of farmland of 689 local people from 148 households in the village, helping them transport rural products to the markets in a timely manner, according to an officials from the District Department of Rural Development.—Ko Hlaing
