With the aim of promoting fire safety and emergency preparedness, a fire drill was conducted in conjunction with a knowledge sharing event on Baya Road in Thirihema Ward in the town of Kyonmange, Myaunmyah District of Ayeyarwady Region yesterday.

During the event, firefighters practically demonstrated how to use fire engines and fire extinguishers when a fire breaks out in the area.

The town Administrator U Zaw Lin Aung, Police Captain Thein Soe, Deputy staff officer of the Town Fire Services Department U Than Oo, official from the Town Development Committee and Ward Administrator U Wunna attended the event.—Hein Htet Lin(Wakhema IPRD)
