With the aims of upgrading the socioeconomic development of rural people and narrowing the gaps between rural and urban areas, officials from Mongphyat Township Department of Rural Development made a field trip to inspect the location for the construction of Sutpan (Shan)-Harkyarhonkaung village road on November 13.

Officials from the Township Department of Rural Development, responsible engineers, village administrator and members of village road development committee made a necessary preparation for the road construction.

Upon completion, it will bring socioeconomic development to the local people in Sutpan (Shan), Harkyarhonkaung Harkyardepa and Sutpan (Akar), according to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.
