Officials from the Township Department of Rural Development inspected the completion of a rural road in Paiktan Village in Pantanaw Township, Ayeyawady Region this morning, according to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.
The road which is 1550 ft. in length, 12 ft. in width and eight inches in thickness has been constructed by a tender winning company since July this year at a cost of Ks. 35.75 million of DRD’s funds allocated in 2022-2023 fiscal year and now, it was completed 100 percent.
During the inspection tour, official led by Daw Toe Toe of the Township Department of Rural Development met with the members of village development committee and stressed the importance of quality construction and maintenance.
It will benefit 300 acres of farmland of local people in the village, according to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.—Nyin Thu(DRD)
