Magway, 11 February 

A fruit show of farmers who are engaged in organic farming organized by Pwintbyu Township Children Nurturing Association was held at Myodaw hall, Magway this morning with the purposes of doing cultivation with the use of organic agricultural method including the agriculture development.

Chief Minister of Magway Region Dr. Aung Moe Nyo delivered an opening remark and Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Win Maw Htay explained about the production of agricultural sector and the use of the organic methods.

MP U Hla San, Head of the Region Agricultural Department U Khin Maung Win, Chairman of Children Nurturing Association U Khin Maung Zaw explained the purpose of the festival including enhancement of safe and nutritious foods for the people and promoting of organic farming for the farmers throughout the country.

The chief minister, the minister, departmental officials, invited business, agricultural experts and farmers observed booths displaying decoration of organic fruits and wall papers for chemical-free cultivation. –Yee Win Naing
