Mong Yawng, 9 March

The Township Maternal and Child Welfare Association conducted a mass immunization campaign in conjunction with a knowledge sharing event about various diseases at its office in Mong Yawng Township, Shan State (East) this morning.

During the event, healthcare workers monitored the body temperatures and blood pressures of children before administering the vaccine.

On the occasion, medical workers from the Township Maternal and Child Welfare Association dosed and injected children below two years old with vaccine against polio, measles, Meningitis, diphtheria and hepatitis.—Township IPRD
