Village developmental works were implemented in 43 villages in Meiktila District, Mandalay Region, according to the District Department of Rural Development.
A total of 207 villages in Meiktila, Mahlaing, Thazi, Wundwin Townships under the guidance of Meiktila District Department of Rural Development are undertaking emerald green projects starting from 2014-2015 FY to 2022-2023 FY. Of which, 43 villages have implemented developmental works with 50 percent of interest of the emerald green project.
The works including two water supply projects, six concrete roads, one multi-purpose hall and 36 electrification projects were conducted with K 328.33934 million of the project and K 651.4411735 million of public contribution. Upon completion, it will bring socioeconomic development to the local people.
