Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received a delegation led by Prosecutor-General Mr Igor Krasnov of the Russian Federation at the Credentials Hall of the Office of the SAC Chairman in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday afternoon.
At the meeting, they cordially exchanged views on the promotion of diplomatic relations between Myanmar and Russia, enhancement of cooperation in legal affairs, plans ofMyanmar legal experts to teach law subjects in Russia, Russian legal experts to teach legal affairs in Myanmar, plans for Myanmar to send trainees to learn military laws, conducting the Russian language courses in Myanmar, the opening of the Myanmar language courses in Russia, and plans to promote cooperation between the two countries.
After the meeting, the Senior General and the Russian Prosecutor-General exchanged gifts and had documentary photos taken together with the attendees.
Also present at the meeting together with the Senior General were SAC Joint Secretary Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo, Union Minister for International Cooperation U Ko Ko Hlaing and Union Minister for Legal Affairs and Attorney-General of the Union Dr Thida Oo. The Russian Prosecutor-General was accompanied by Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Myanmar Dr Nikolai Listopadov and delegation members. — MNA/TTA
