A concrete road was inaugurated to mark 78th Anniversary of Armed Forces Day to public in Myodwin Village in Naungcho Township of Shan State(North) yesterday morning.
First of all, staff officer of the District Department of Rural Development U Tun Chit delivered an opening speech. Next, staff officer of the Township DRD U Myint Htway Win discussed matters relating to the construction works of the concrete road.
Afterwards, staff officer of the District Department of Rural Development U Tun Chit, Chairman of the Township Administration Council U Si Thu Linn, staff officer of the Township Immigration and Population U Aung Myint and Village Administrator U Nyunt Aung cut a ceremonial ribbon to open the road.
The road which is 2300 ft. long, 12ft. wide and six inches thick was constructed by the Township DRD with Ks.41.99 million including Ks. 10 million of DRD’s fund allocated in 2022-2023 FY and Ks. 31.99 million contributed by local people, according to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.—Soe Moe Kyaw
