A ceremony to open mapping, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and engineering course took place at the meeting hall of Ottarathiri District Rural Development Office, Ottarathiri District, Nay Pyi Taw at 10 am today with the purposes of promoting the skillful staffs from Rural Development Department.

At the event, Head of Rural Development Department U Myo Min Soe delivered and an opening remark about the mapping, GIS and engineering course. Also present at the opening ceremony was Deputy Director of Rural Development Department Daw Nilar Soe, departmental officials, staffs and others.

The 10-day course is being attended by 20 trainees from Ottarathiri, Pobbathiri, Tatkon and Zeyathiri Townships. –Aung Ko (IPRD)
