Officials inspect completion of rural development projects in An Township

Officials from the Township Department of Rural Development looked into the completion of a multi-purpose hall in Pyaungchaung Village and a concrete road in Kyaunggon Village in An Township, Rakhine State on 28 March.

 

During the inspection tour, staff officer of the District DRD U Maung Maung Soe, staff officer of the Township DRD U Naing Linn Tun and engineers led by staff officer of Rakhine State Department of Rural Development U Chit Maung gave necessary instructions to members of Village Development Committee and stressed the importance of quality construction and maintenance.

 

The hall measuring 40 ft. in length, 24 ft. in width and 12 ft. in height in Pyaungchaung Village has been constructed since the third week of September last year with Ks. 13.0 million including Ks. 12 million including Ks. 10 million of DRD’s funds allocated in 2022-2023 fiscal year and Ks. 2  million contributed by local people.

 

Similarly, the concrete road which is 410 ft. long, 12ft. wide and six inches thick in Kyaunggon Village has been constructed since the third week of September last year with Ks. 10 million of DRD’ funds allocated in 2022-2023 FY and now, all the projects were completed 100 percent, according to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.—Ko Than OO(DRD)
