At the invitation of U Ko Ko Hlaing, Union Minister for International Cooperation of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, a delegation led by Mr Wang Ning, Member of CPC Central Committee and Secre­tary of CPC Yunnan Provincial Committee of the People’s Re­public of China, paid a working visit to Myanmar from 1 to 3 April 2023.

 

During the visit, while in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday at Ho­rizon Lake View Hotel, the Un­ion Minister for International Cooperation of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and the Member of CPC Central Committee and Secretary of CPC Yunnan Provincial Com­mittee of the People’s Republic of China witnessed the signing and exchanging ceremony of the agreements and memoran­da of understanding between Myanmar and Yunnan, namely, the Agreement of Grain Sup­ply Chain Cooperation, the Agreement of Fertilizer Supply Chain Cooperation, Kyaukphyu Future Mobile Clinic Project, Memorandum of Understand­ing on the import cooperation of agricultural produce in My­anmar and Power Purchase Agreement for Dapein 1 Hy­dropower Plant. The ceremony was attended by Union Minis­ters from the Ministry of Agri­culture, Livestock and Irriga­tion, the Ministry of Electric Power, the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Commerce and officials concerned.

 

Afterwards, Union Min­isters and the Chinese dele­gation led by Mr Wang Ning attended the dinner hosted by the Union Minister for Inter­national Cooperation. — MNA
