SAC Member Deputy Prime Minister Union Minister for Transport and Communications Admiral Tin Aung San received Ambassador Mr Vinay Kumar of India to Myanmar yesterday at the ministry in Nay Pyi Taw.
Both sides frankly discussed and exchanged views on the multi-model transit transport project through the Kaladan River in cooperation between Myanmar and India, ensuring the safe passage of vessels along the Kaladan River, marine surveying and dredging, flight expansion and future cooperation.
The meeting was attended by the deputy minister for Transport and Communications and relevant departmental officials. — MNA/TS
