Officials from the Township Department of Rural Development inspected the completion of concrete paving work of road in Chinhtaung and Mebeitgon villages in Minbu Township, Magway Region on 4 April.

During the inspection tour, officials met with members of village development project committee and stressed the importance of quality construction and maintenance.

The concrete road measuring 650 ft. in length, 15 ft. in width and six inches in thickness in Chinhtaung Village and the concrete road which is 650 ft. long, 12 ft. wide and six inches thick in Mebeitgon Village were constructed with Ks. 11.0 million including Ks.10.00 million of DRD’s allocated funds in 2022-2023 fiscal years and Ks. 1.00 million contributed by local people and now, all the projects were completed by 100 percent, according to an official from the Township Department of Rural Development.—Zin Mar Oo(DRD)
