Hsihseng, 18 April
The powerful winds hit Kayanlay Village in Hsihseng Township, the Pa'O Self-Administered Zone, Shan State(South) at about 4:30 am on 18 April and flipped over the roofs of Monastery, Roman Catholic church and some houses.
The roofs of a monastery, Roman Catholic Church and ten houses in Kayanlay Village in the Township were flipped over by strong winds and inflicting the estimated loss of Ks. 2.90 million. But no casualties have been reported in the incident.
The victims of strong wind are currently taking shelter at the homes of their relatives in the village and are provided with relief items by local authorities.—Myo Myat (Hsihseng)
