Some villages in Dawei Township of Tanintharyi Region suffered from scarcity of drinking water due to extreme hot weather as the dry season set in.

As part of efforts to help the difficulties of rural people, members of Dawei National Union Committee paid a domiciliary visit to provide drinking water to the affected people in Knaida Village and Monastery in Dawei Township, Tanintharyi Region, and provided 4000 liters of drinking water to the affected people in the Village, according to Dawei National Union Committee.—Nywe Zinyaw(Dawei)
