Natmauk, 21 April
The powerful wind hit Thahmunggon Village and Thapyaehla Village in Natmauk Township, Magway Region at about 8:00 pm on 20 April and flipped over the roofs of some houses and blew down trees.
The roofs of 31 houses including 27 houses in Thahmunggon Village and four houses in Thapyaehla Village in Namauk Township were flipped over by strong wind and inflicting the estimated loss of Ks. 1.10 million. But no casualties have been reported in the incident so far.
The victims of strong wind are currently taking shelter at the homes of their relatives in the village and are provided with necessary assistance by local authorities.—Hla Win(IPRD)
